New year New rooms

Well with the end of 2007 approaching us and the start of a new year and with the kids getting older we decided to give them each their own rooms. Daniel got the bigger room since he is older and hailey got her bedroom the old playroom. The kids had fun helping move everything around and decorate their own rooms. Hailey's is my little pony and princesses her two favorite things and of course there is alot of pink her favorite color in her room. Daniel's room is cars and pirates of the caribean. He just got a new tv/dvd player that is pirates and he loves it and got a new car road track rug to play his hot wheels on. The kids were really excited to get their own rooms and love having their own individual space. The only bad thing is we caught daniel up at 1130pm last night building with his leggos.

Our 8 year anniversary

Last night we celebrated our 8 year anniversary. Our anniversary is actually tomorrow but we celebrated 2 days early cause justin has to work tomorrow. We went to Red robin for lunch with the kids so they had a part in celebrating the day with us. then i got to go to the hair salon and get pampered and had my hair cut and starightened for the night. Then justin took me out for a very romantic dinner to one of the nicest restaurants in town. They had our table decorated with rose pedals and an anniversary card for us. We both had the most delicious crab cakes as an appetizer and then probably the best prime rib we have eaten yet in alaksa. The restaurant served us a complimentary dessert of creme brulee on a special anniversary plate. It was a wonderful evening that the two of us got to spend together.

The Day after Christmas and the kids with their new toys

The kids were having fun today playing with all their new toys. Hailey woke up this morning and the first thing she asked for was where butterscotch was and when we went downstairs she was very happy to see him. Both kids were making art masterpieces on daniels new easel and they were both rockin the house with their new guitars. Later in the day we went to the ski hill and the kids were chillin in the lodge coloring their new coloring books and playing their new diego memory game while daddy was out snowboarding with a friend. Hailey is feeling alot better today and having fun playing with all her new toys. Here are some pics.

Christmas Day

Well santa definitly came to visit our house last night. Daniel woke us all up at 4:15am this morning to see if santa had come. The kids ran downstairs and daniel was all excited to see his new art easel santa left him and hailey had her first meeting with her new pony butterscotch that santa left. The kids were also very excited to check their stockings and daniel found his we will rock you tooth tunes toothbrush he had really wanted and of course santa left both kids candy. Later in the day the kids opened presents from their aunt tami and family and grandma and pap-pap and great grandma mildred and got alot of the toys they had asked for. Unfortunatly hailey was a little under the weather and not feeling totally herself today but everytime she looked at butterscotch a smile came across her face. She was also very excited to get mermaid dora from her grandma cindy and pap pap that she had been asking santa for alot. Daniel and hailey both got guitars and our now rocking the house out. Santa delivered to justin a digital drill press which he had really wanted and alot of new wii games and acessories and santa brought me a very nice dooney and burke wallet to go with the purse justin bought me for our anniversary and alot of stuff for the computer to make our computer run alot faster and do alot more. We all had a very good christmas and had a very nice family day all together. Here are a few pics I will send more out tomorrow on email. I took 115 pictures today alone. Yes I am camera crazy.
