HOLIDAY RICE KRISPIE TREAT GINGERBREAD HOUSES

The kids made rice krispie treats gingerbread houses today. Daniel really took his time decorating his house with icing and gum drops and candy buttons and did the whole house by himself. Hailey had a little help with hers but they both came out really nice. The best part for the kids was eating it afterwards.

We had a very happy Thanksgiving. We went over to our friends Mike and Jessica's house and spent the evening with all our good friends here in alaska. Two of our very good friends are headed to Japan but we were able to spend Thanksgiving with them as well before they moved. There was lots of food and the kids also enjoyed watching the annual Thanksgiving Day parade in the morning. I can't believe its less then one month until Hanukkah and Christmas and we are all getting into the holiday spirit. Ive had about 6 hours of sleep between the last 2 days but enjoyed going out shopping for all the black friday sales the past two days. It is definitly winter time here we have so much snow outside and are expected to get between 4 and 11 inches more in the next few days. We hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving.

NO MORE DIAPERS

Hailey and her new pee pee in the potty doll

No more diapers for Hailey

We are very proud of lil Miss Hailey. We have been trying to potty train her since she turned 3 last May. Hailey was a little more of a stuggle potty training then Daniel was. When we first started really trying to train him he was in underwear about 2 weeks later. Hailey was more lazy and just didnt want to stop playing to use the potty. Hailey really showed interest in this new little mommy pee pee in the potty doll and really wanted it. She told us around September she was going to ask Santa for it and we told her if she could go one full week wearing underwear without peeing or pooping in her underwear her reward would be the doll. As of today Hailey has gone 8 days wearing underwear with no accidents and she has now worn her underwear to school for 2 weeks of school with no accidents (she only goes to school 3 days a week). So today we went after school to Target and Hailey got her pee pee in the potty doll and loves her. We did tell her if she starts going in her underwear again she will lose the doll but she said she wont let that happen because she loves her new doll.

Today we went to Daniel's pre-school Thankgiving Lunch. They combined both the morning and afternoon preschool classes so he saw some of his friends from last year also. His friend Christopher which is also on his basketball team was there as well and of course Daniel sat next to him. Hailey came along as well cause all family was welcome including siblings and one of her friends from her preschool class was there as well cause her brother is in Daniel's class and Hailey was happy to see her friend. There was lots of food and we all had a very good time. Hailey also has a pre-school Thanksgiving lunch but her classes is next Wednesday so look for her class harvest lunch next week. We will be going to hers as well and we will pull brother out of his class 45 minutes early so he can attend hers as well. Hailey's is during normal class hours in the afternoon.

We went to our really good friends Andy and Amanda's going away Friday night. That is the worst part of being in the military making really great friends and then they have to pcs (term military uses for move). They are moving to Japan. We are going to miss them alot. They are like family to us. The kids call them Uncle Andy and Auntie Amanda and we know it is going to really hard on them cause they dont understand that they are moving away and it will be a long time until we see them again. They have been watching the movie I Carly goes to Japan knowing that's where they are moving but they dont understand Japan is on the other side of the world. They relate to them being like Grandma and Grandpa and Grandma and Pap Pap and they think we just have to get on 2 airplanes and we can visit. We do hope to be able to visit them while they are in Japan. We found out its a 7 hour and 15 minute non stop flight if we can get on a hop from our base which is a special military flight. We are hoping to go here to visit once they have their baby and a few months before we leave Alaska cause it would be our once in a lifetime chance to get to travel to Japan also. Once back in the states it would be way to hard to take a flight with the kids to visit Japan. I do know Uncle Andy and Auntie amanda will be sending Miss Hailey alot of hello kitty stuff considering they are going to be in hello kitty headquarters and ill be shipping them alot of packages from stores from the states they wont have acsess to. We will definitly stay in touch cause they are some of the best friends weve met since being in the military, and thank goodness for web cams we will be able to see each other on the computer and that helps the kids alot to keep in touch with everyone far away.

Hailey was just being so cute and photogenic this morning I had to share these pictures. She could definitly be a model. She was posing for the camera and I just kept clicking away. I took the kids today to see the movie Madagasscar 2. They loved it. They sat and didnt budge for the whole movie and Hailey actually stayed quiet. She usually talks throughout most movies we go to. Daniel and Hailey have become very close to their friends Bella and Nicholas. They go to pre-school together and Hailey, Bella, and Nicholas are in gymnastics class together.
Nicholas and Hailey were holding hands and walking into the movie together it was just so cute. Only 3 years old and she already has a little boyfriend. Daniel doesnt really have a friend as close as he used to be to his friend Kelsea when we were in Fairbanks. This is the first time Hailey has really become extremly close to someone. Here are also some pictures from Daniel's basketball games. He is just about at mid -season right now and has about 8 games left. Hailey is continuesly getting better at gymnastics and learning new things each and every week. Here are some random pics of the kiddos. I can't believe it is already November. The holidays are right around the corner with alot of new pictures and posts to come.

WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY WEBPAGE

This is a great way to keep in touch with what's going on in the lives of the Williams' Family. With us being so far away it's great to be able to write and post recent pictures of what's going on in our lives. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. Justin and I have been married for 9 years. Daniel is now 5 years old and Hailey is 3 years. We have Zack the Dog, Storm the Cat, Oscar the Fish, and out latest addition to the family Mr. Beans the dog. Justin is keeping busy working 12 hour shifts at the passenger terminal on base and going to school to complete his small business certificate program. I am currently a stay at home mom taking care of the kids which is definitly a full time job in itself and I spend a great deal of time volunteering at the Airman's Attic on base. Daniel and Hailey both go to pre-school 3 days a week. Hailey is currently in her 3rd year of gymnastics. She was been taking gymnastics since she was 18 months old and Daniel just finished playing basketball on the Lions pee wee league last month. We currently have 17 months left in Alaska and then we dont know where we are going to be moving after that. Justin spends his free time working on his Landcruiser and offroading. I spend my free time scrapbooking and keeping up with our blog, watching movies, and keeping up with the kids and all their activites. Daniel loves dinosaurs, superheros (batman, the hulk, superman, and spiderman his favorites, and doing arts and crafts. Hailey loves horses and ponies, barbies, princesses, playing dress up, and recently Hannah Montana. Keep checking back to our page for the newest happenings going on in out lives.
