Daniel had a really great Birthday. Today at school I brought cupcakes to his school and his name was announced on the morning announcements and he got to wear a Birthday hat all day long at school. His Birthday Party this year was at an indoor bounce play park called Alaska For Fun. He had most of his friends from the neighborhood and his close friends there to help him celebrate. Daniel's theme this year was Marvel Super heroes. Daddy made his cake. It was an awesome Spiderman cake and he had a super-sized Wolverine balloon. Wolverine and Spiderman are Daniel's two favorite super heroes. Its really hard to believe He is already six years old. Where has the time gone? Here are some pictures from Daniel's big day.

I know I'm a few days early but I didn't get cards out this year and just wanted to wish everyone who celebrates A Very Happy Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Thank You Grandpa and Grandma for the Cd's and new clothes you sent the kids for the holidays and they are getting some new Miami Dolphins clothes from us to wear tomorrow for the Dolphins opening game of the season. We hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy New Year. L'Shana Tova . Also Fall is here for us already. All the leaves are starting to change colors and it is beautiful outside right now. Unfotunatley though that means Winter is right around the corner. Our Fall season usually lasts about three weeks and then we will get our first snowfall of the season.

We went to Daniel's Open House last night at his school. He was very proud to show us around his classroom. He took us to his table where he sits. There are 3 tables and 6 kids sit at each table and at his table He showed us the special Nursery Rhyme book He made for us. He then took us around the classroom and showed us all the different corners of the room where they have different learning stations. He said his favorites are the blocks station where He builds blocks with his friends and the math learning station where he uses dominos and different patterns they create with leggos to learn their counting skills. He also showed us the science corner and the writing corner and the pretend area. Daniel's teacher Mrs. Knowles said He is doing really well. We met two of his close friends in his class Joel and King who he plays with alot at school and sits with most of the time at lunch. Here are some pictures of the very special book Daniel made at school for us. Also I joined the PTA and have gone to two PTA meetings already. Im helping in planning the annual spagetti and bingo dinner next Friday. The school will have a pasta dinner with all the sides and fixings and thenplay several bingo games for prizes. Also I have started working at the school again doing noon duty where I monitor the kids while they are at recess and lunch. Its only 2 and a half hours a day but the little extra money will help us out. Yesterday was my first day subbing and Daniel was excited to see me working at his school. He waved at me while He was at lunch and on the playground.

Today was Hailey's first day of Pre-school. She is now in the Bears Class. Her teachers are Mrs. Carver and Mrs. Roman the same teachers her Brother had last year. The only difference is she goes 5 days a week for 6 hours instead of 3 days a week for 3 hours so she even gets lunch everyday at school. She picked out her outft for the first day. She picked out a Gap dress with apples all over and red legging to go underneath, she wore 2 red bows in he hair and wanted pigtails for the first day, and of course was wearing her new Leli Kelly shoes. She had her Hannah Montana backpack on her back. She looked extremley adorable as always. Daniel was exited too to take his Sissy to school and say Hi to his old teachers and tell them about his Kindergarden class. HAiley came home and surprisinly didnt even fall asleep on the way home. She said her favorite part was she got lunch and a snack and going ut on the big playground, and she painted a picture today but an't bring it home till tomorrow. It needed to dry. I am very fortunate both kids love their teachers and are very happy at school this year.

Today for Labor Day the kids had a day off from school and usually around the time of their Birthdays we make a trip to Chuck E Cheese. So we decided to go today. First we went to Applebees for lunch and I never saw the kids eat so well. We told them if they finished their lunch we would take them to Chuck E Cheese. Well both of their plates were cleared. Daniel was very excited to be going. He has really started taking an interest in video games. He even told me when Chuck E Cheese was walking around and I asked him if he wanted to go see him and take a picture "He said Mommy Im 6 now Im too big for Chuck E Cheese Im busy playing a video game". Well Hailey went and gave Chuck E Cheese a hug and took her picture but of course she wanted Mommy right next to her. They had a really good time and went through over 100 tokens in 2 hours. As they say Labor Day is generally the end of the summer. I think we all had a really good summer this year and are ready for the fall. Im not going to say I'm ready for the Winter but the kids are a little excited for it to snow again so they can play in the snow and make snowmen. Hailey starts pre-school tomorrow and is very excited to begin her school year. We hope everyone had a very enjoyable Labor Day Weekend with their families.
