HAILEY'S FINAL PROJECT

We had a special guest for the weekend Mrs. Bear joined our family. Its a project hailey's school does where each child gets an opportunity to have Mr. Bear spend a weekend with their families and take pictures and do a journal of what they do with Mr Bear then they return him and tell the class about their visit. Daniel did it last year and Hailey has been waiting for her turn to get a chance this year. Here is her journal. (Mr. Bear actually became Mrs. Bear at our house).

We have enjoyed having Mrs. Bear spend the weekend with our family. On Friday night Mrs. Bear joined us for movie night at my brother Daniel's school. We saw cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. Then on Saturday Mrs. Bear went with us to the Month Of The Military Child carnival at my school. After the carnival we went to the Wendy's restaurant and Mrs Bear enjoyed lunch and frosty's with us. Later that evening She watched the movie The Great Mouse Detective with my brother and I. Later that night Mrs. Bear snuggled up with me and my other stuffed animals friends and slept in my bed. On Sunday Mrs. Bear was able to get on skype on the web cam and meet my Daddy who is currently in Iraq to help keep our country safe. Mrs Bear was also able to meet my Grandpa and Grandma who live far away in Florida. I was very happy Mrs Bear had the chance to meet some of my family. Later Sunday afternoon Mrs. Bear went on a shopping trip to Wal-mart with us and now she is getting ready for her last night in our house. We enjoyed having Mrs. Bear visit us for the weekend.

THE KIDS WON THIS BUBBLE MAKER IN THE TOY RAFFLE

Today We went to A carnival at Hailey's Pre-school in honor of the Month Of the Military Child Celebration. April is Month Of The Military Child and every year they have a carnival where everything is free for the Kids. They had face painting which Hailey got a butterfly on Her face and Daniel didnt want to do it. They had some carnival games for the Kids to play and A few crafts to do. they made hats and picture frames and planted a plant. They also had bounce houses and a hula hoop contest and cotton candy and popcorn. There was A toy raffle we entered and won. The Kids won a bubble maker. Great for the park this summer. Officier Mcgruff, Sparky The Dog, and The dare Lion were all there as well. One thing I really liked is they did free child Id kits for all children and gave away free bike locks. Daniel and Hailey both got their fingerprints done and a recent picture taken by a police officier and we have bike locks for their bikes not that We should have to worry about them being stolen from base. The Kids had A great time today.

HAILEY WITH HER FLOWER SHE MADE

Today for Earth Day Hailey had this adorable shirt I found at Old Navy to wear to school. Her class was supposed to plant a tree today but We had an unexpected rainstorm which turned into sleet and then snow. Only in Alaska snow the end of April. They are gonna try to plant their trees next week if the weather is nice. Hailey did show Me Her classes 2D-3D art mural they made and put up in the gym. Everyone in the class had a part in making it for the pre-schools annual art display. Hailey also got to make a flower to take home. Daniel has been keeping a log for the past week of random acts of environmental kindness and doing 1 thing each day that is nice for the environment. He turned in his log today and received a ribbon for Earth Day. Very surprisinly He was only 1 of 7 in his class that completed it. There are 22 kids in his class so not even 1/3 of the class did the 1 week log.

Today was Alaska Kids Day an annual event they have been doing for the last few years. This is the first year We have gone. There are tons of vendors and different kid crafts and activites and special guests all for Kids and the best part its all free. It was very crowded though. I didnt realize Anchorage had such a large population until yesterday. The Kids had A great time though. I was a little stressed trying to keep My eye on them with so many people but they stayed close and did very well. I think its the first really crowded function I attempted by myself well actually I was with My Friend but She had her own two Kids to worry about and I didint have either of them in a wagon or stoller. Sad to say umbrella strollers and wagons have been outgrown. They will be at My yard sale next month. One of the high lights of the day was they had two 9 week old baby tigers that were showed at the opening ceremonies of the day. Daniel got to try his hand at some basketball. They have A basketball camp this summer but its for ages 7-14 He just misses it. The Kids did get to meet some of the representatives from the summer camp they are going to Camp Si Lo Mi and they got to make a craft of a campfire. They were told about some of the stuff they would be doing this summer and seemed very excited. We also found out there is a gymnastics summer camp and its for ages 5-13 and We might look into that for 1 week. The Kids summer will be pretty packed. they shouldnt have much time to be bored this summer. Hailey got to meet the channel 11 newscaster and got her picture taken with her and autographed. She sat on stage with her for a few minutes as an assistant newscaster. Sparky The Dog, Officier mcgruff, The Seward sea life otter and puffin, The Alaska Club bear, Mr Moose and more were all there to take pictures with the Kids and daniel was the first to have to mention they were all people in costumes gotta love Daniel. The Kids had A great
day yesterday.

WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY WEBPAGE

This is a great way to keep in touch with what's going on in the lives of the Williams' Family. With us being so far away it's great to be able to write and post recent pictures of what's going on in our lives. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. Justin and I have been married for 9 years. Daniel is now 5 years old and Hailey is 3 years. We have Zack the Dog, Storm the Cat, Oscar the Fish, and out latest addition to the family Mr. Beans the dog. Justin is keeping busy working 12 hour shifts at the passenger terminal on base and going to school to complete his small business certificate program. I am currently a stay at home mom taking care of the kids which is definitly a full time job in itself and I spend a great deal of time volunteering at the Airman's Attic on base. Daniel and Hailey both go to pre-school 3 days a week. Hailey is currently in her 3rd year of gymnastics. She was been taking gymnastics since she was 18 months old and Daniel just finished playing basketball on the Lions pee wee league last month. We currently have 17 months left in Alaska and then we dont know where we are going to be moving after that. Justin spends his free time working on his Landcruiser and offroading. I spend my free time scrapbooking and keeping up with our blog, watching movies, and keeping up with the kids and all their activites. Daniel loves dinosaurs, superheros (batman, the hulk, superman, and spiderman his favorites, and doing arts and crafts. Hailey loves horses and ponies, barbies, princesses, playing dress up, and recently Hannah Montana. Keep checking back to our page for the newest happenings going on in out lives.
