Just had to brag

I just finished taking my second mid term for my administrative medical assistant class and I got a 92 percent. Im two-thirds done with my class. I have 10 more chapters and I final exam and I will have my certificate program completed. Hopefully by the end of May I will be finished if i kept going the rate im going and giving as much time to it and then i will have my diploma before we head on vacation and can enjoy most of my summer.

New Car

Well with the high rise of gas prices we decided to trade in our sequira and get a car. It was a little ackward at first going from such a huge suv and downgrading to a car but I love it now. We got a 2009 mitsubishi Lancer. It just came out and was in the showroom for a whole 8 days before we purchased it. It had 16 miles on. My favorite functions are the fact that it is blue tooth compatible and I can talk on my cell phone hand free while driving by the touch of a button on the stering wheel. It also has an awesome sound system with a subwoofer in the trunk and a 6 disk cd player along with a special plug in for ipods and mp3 players where i can plug my mp3 playing right into the car. We even have satelitte radio where you never lose a radio station. I drove the new car to playgroup the other day and all the moms were saying i lost my mommy vechiles but now i have a hot mama vechile. The kids love it also and have plenty of space in the backseat. my back loves it as well cause both kids can now get in and out of the car themselves without having to be lifted up. Daniel is extremely happy cause his favorite color is blue and the car is blue. Hailey asked why we can't have a pink car and i told her she'll have to sell mary kay when she gets older if she wants a pink car. well here are some pics of the new family ride.

Brunch with the easter bunny

The kids went to a brunch with the easter bunny this morning. they had sandwiches and fruit and yougert and chips for the kids to eat and then they got to decorate their hard boiled eggs they brought from home. they also did a few simple crafts. decorating cookies and making bunny ears. they played musical bunny hop chairs but didnt quite understand the object of the game was sit down on a chair when the music stopped. they just kept walking. They had real baby chicks the kids were able to hold that were in different colors. they explained to us that the eggs were injected with dye before the chicks were hatched. It was pretty cool. there were also real bunny rabbits to pet and of course the easter bunny was there to see the kids. The kids had a great time and everyone complimented on miss hailey's new shoes.

Daniel's easter party at preschool

Today Daniel decorated eggs with his friends at preschool and the teacher sent all the kids home with a goody bag and a coloring book. she even gave them pixie stix which im so excited about daniel said they were very good well im sure its a straw of pure sugar. I love when the teacher sugars them up for us for the weekend. He decorated his brown bag he kept all his eggs in. Tomorrow we are going to a brunch with the easter bunny where they get to eat and do crafts with the easter bunny. they are all excited about that. Once this weekend is over it will be time to start teaching them about passover which will begin next month on april 19th and 20th. we are trying to teach them about both their religions. They got an easter book from school called t rex cottontail about a dinosaur who dresses like a bunny and they got a book about passover called this is the matzah. well here are some pics of daniel from preschool today.

Hailey's new lelli kelly shoes

Hailey has been seeing these shoes on a tv commericial for a while now and always mentions them when she sees them on tv. well I had never seen them in any store before and we were having lunch in nordstroms yesterday and went past the kids shoes and daniel actually spotted them first and said "sissy those are the shoes you want for your birthday" . well thank you very much to their grandma and grandpa for purchasing them for miss Hailey she now has lelli kelly shoes and she loves them. These shoes are all different in unique in some way not one pair is alike. she wanted to wear them to bed last night. needless to say she has been wearing them around the house all day today. I had to explain to her she can only wear them out for special occasions like her birthday and not wear them all the time otherwise ill never get another shoe on her. Daniel also got new shoes yesterday that he picked out as well. he is saving them to wear on vacation this summer. he got vans skater shoes with skeletons on them. I think they are ugly but he loves them as well.

Happy St Patrick's Day

The kids were all dressed in their matching green shirts today. Daniel's said mommy's lucky charm and Hailey's said daddy's lucky lady. Daniel said they had corned beef and cabbage at school for lunch today with green jello. Im jealous cause i love corned beef and cabbage and daniel said he didnt eat it cause he didnt like it. Hailey made a leprochan at playgroup today for her craft. Even mommy dressed in her green today so nobody would try to pinch me. here are some pics. Im very excited to announce i took my first mid term for my class last night and scored an 86. Im a third of the way done with my class. hopefully 2 more months and ill get my certificate and then can look for a job for next september when both kids are in preschool.

Dr Seues' Horton Hears A Who

The kids have been very anxious to see this new movie. We are finally going tomorrow. I just hope hailey sits still for it. This will be Haileys 3rd movie her first 2 movies in the theater which was happy feet and surf's up she didnt quite understand the fact that you dont talk during movies and wouldnt shut up. she kept narrating everything that went on in the movies. She has only been to the base movie theater so this will also be her first time in a real movie theater in town. Daniel is great watching movies. he has seen over a dozen in the theaters already and he knows to sit still and not talk during the movies. We went last night to eat at ihop they were serving green eggs and ham and who cakes these mini pancakes with purple and pink cake froasting and a lolipop in the middle in honor of the movie starting. The kids loved it but it did not taste to appetizing to us adults. It was justin's day off and it was great for us to have some quality family time. Im headed out to my mom's night out to play bunco tonight and im really looking forward to a couple hours with the girls. The kids are all excited cause they get to go to our friends Andy and Amanda's house and they love hanging out with them. Daniels spring break is about over but he was telling grandma and grandpa on the phone yesterday that he missed his friends at school and was ready to go back. that's all for now talk to everyone soon.
