Christmas Eve

We had a very nice dinner for Christmas Eve. We had our friends the Diller Family and the Kasner family over our house and another airman who works with Justin. The Turkey I made with a little of Justin's help came out really well. Thank you to Jessica for cooking the Ham . All the kids had a good time and enjoyed opening their presents. Hailey loved her littlest pet shop toy and Daniel loved his nerf gun. Thank you Diller Family. Hailey loved her pony playset and Daniel loved his new Diego toy. Thank you Kasner Family. Of course we all watched the holiday classic A christmas Story. The kids left a plate of cookies out for Santa and are now in bed. Hailey is watching My Little Pony A Very Minty Christmas and Daniel is watching Diego Saves Christmas. We checked the computer at 9pm and Santa was in Cabo, Mexico. So he should be making his way to our house in a few more hours. We hope everyone has a Happy Holiday.

FOURTH NIGHT OF HANUKKAH

Tonight was the fourth night of Hanukkah. Daniel opened up a spiderman battlecar and Hailey opened up a gymnastics diva barbie doll. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

THIRD NIGHT OF HANUKKAH

Tonight was the third night of Hanukkah. The kids opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa. They got interactive talking robots. Daniel got Wall-E and Hailey got Eva. They loved them. They are very cute when they look into each others eyes they respond to each other. Hailey said Wall-E and Eva love each other like Daniel and Hailey. How cute they are. Justin and I also opened our Hanukkah presents from Mom and Dad. Justin got two beautiful sweaters one he can wear for dinner tomorrow night and one he can wear when we go out for our anniversary next week. One was a Ralph Larren sweater and one a Donald Trump sweater. He also got a bottle of Captain Morgan. I got A Ralph Lauren sweater as well and a beautiful Coach wallet. Just need the purse now to go with it. Hopefully in a few days I will get one. Also Thank you very much for our early anniversary present Mom and Dad. We did as the card read and made dinner reservations to Simon and Seafort for Monday night.

SECOND NIGHT OF HANUKKAH

Tonight was the second night of Hanukkah. The kids opened new cowboy boots from Mommy and Daddy. They had outgrown there old ones. Daniel's were black and Hailey's were pink of course. At first they were disappointed they said but mommy these are shoes not toys but then later in the evening they were really happy with their boots Hailey wanted to wear hers to bed. They also opened their Hanukkah presents from Uncle Stephen, Aunt Ronna, and Cousin Matt. Hailey loved her Barbie Stylin horse and Hanna Montana hair barrettes and Daniel loved his new backyardigans leapster game and glow in the dark hulk mask. Thank you very much Schectman Family. we were very happy to see you on the web cam tonight.

Lighting the menorah

Tonight was the first night of Hanukkah. The kids each lit their menorahs. Daniel has the big one and sissy the smaller one and then we were able to get on the web camera with Grandpa and Grandma and they opened some presents. They got a 101 piece hanukkah craft set for the kids to do crafts together and they each got a package of hanukkah placemats to color in. Daniel also got a way cool t-rex hot wheels toy and Hailey a barbie doll with a jumping horse. Both kids were very happy with their presents thank you very much Grandpa and Grandma. Mommy was in the kitchen actually attempting to make potato latkes for the kids rather then buying them already made this year and after setting the smoke detector off they actually came out pretty good. Im also attempting to cook a full dinner for Christmas Eve by myself since Justin has to work during the day. Hopefully I can achieve that without setting the smoke detector off again. The kids have a very busy week with the next 7 nights of Hanukkah which overlap with Christmas in between so by weeks end they will definitly be two spoiled rugrats. We wish everyone a very happy holiday season and I will try to post pics every night this next week if I get the opportunity.

I took the kids to the Bx yesterday and they had one last chance to sit on Santa's lap and tell hem what they want. We told the kids after today hes very busy getting ready to deliver all the toys for christmas and they probably wont get another chance to see him. Daniel was first and he told Santa he wanted spike the dinosaur, the car that drives up the wall, the fur real dog that rolls over, and superhero toys like batman, the hulk, superman, and spiderman. We had to explain to Daniel Santa can't bring everything on his list cause he has to bring toys to kids all over the world but we are sure he will bring some of the things on his list. Then it was Haileys turn and she asked for the puppy that swims and Santa asked her if thats it and she had to think for a while and then she said the my little pony carnival with the big wheel, barbie dolls, and hannah montana, and that she likes princesses too. I think both kids will be happy Christmas morning even if they dont get everything on their lists.

A special visit from Santa Claus

Today we went to the Pals playgroup holiday party. This is the playgroup on base where I used to be on the commiittee and pretty much in charge of but, Since September when the kids both started pre-school we havent gone that frequent. Today we went to the holiday party so the kids can see some of their friends they hadnt seen in a few months. There was a special guest from the North Pole who showed up to hand out some presents to the kids. Daniel got the new Diego movie he had been wanting and Hailey got the new Dora movie she had been wanting. They made a snowman craft and had a very good time. I think we are pretty much partied out with all the parties we have been to this week. Tonight we are hoping to drive around Anchorage and see some holiday lights.
