Happy 5th Birthday Daniel

We just celebrated Daniel's 5th birthday yesterday. He had a dinosaurs party. We celebrated a few weeks early to have his party before school started. He had alot of his friends from playgroup, school, and around the neighborhood come to his party. We had a very special dinosaur cake made by one of my friends and he had a T-Rex pinanta filled with candy and treats. Daniel got lots of cool dinosaur toys, and hot wheel cars, and power ranger toys, and speed racer toys. Everything boys love. We want to thank Grandma Audrey and Grandpa Ed for Daniel's new train table and our new coffee table in our living room. Its a train table with a lid so the kids can color and do art projects when not using the train part and a great place for us to hold drinks. Also for Daniel and Hailey's backpacks and lunchboxes for school. We want to thank Grandma Cindy and Pap-Pap for Daniel's new leapster 2 game system and Wall-E game. Its really cool its like a nintendo Ds but learning games to prepare him for kindergarten next year and Hailey loves her v tech writing tool. The birthday boy had a very special day and his sister enjoyed herself too. On Daniel's real birthday later this month just the family are going to go to chuck e cheese for a few hours and let the kids play some games and Daniel see chuck e cheese. I am also going to try to bring some cupcakes to school since he will be in school on his real birthday. Here aere some pics from Daniel's big day yesterday.
It looks like I will be starting a part-time job as a noon duty attendant at the 3 elementary schools on base. I will be working 2 hours and 15 minutes a day from 1115am-130pm helping the kids with lunch and recess and doing sm jobs around the school office like cutting out papers and stapling and laminating. The one school across the street from out house just told me today with in the next 2 weeks they may become a permanant noon duty attendant opening for the remainer of the school year where I will work everyday mon-fri and get 20 bucks a day. So ill be making about 100 bucks a week which is alot more then I was getting staying home. Im excited. It will keep me busy during the week and throughout the winter and ill still have a few hours to myself when I get off 3 days a week while the kids are still in preschool. I also know a few of the kids from the neighborhood so there will be some friendly known faces.

We went on an overnight camping trip this weekend to King's River which is about 25 miles past palmer/wasilla area. It was the kids second ever overnight camping trip. Their first was over 2 years ago and Hailey was too young to even remember. The kids had a blast. It was our first time as a family using our pop-up camper. Justin had used it once before with a few friends. The kids were very excited to get to sleep overnight in the camper. Hailey had her strawberry shortcake sleeping bag and Daniel had his spongebob sleeping bag. They even brought their pillow from home and Daniel had to bring his monkey fur real pet. The kids thought it was so neat to be outside and in the camper sleeping and eating. They actually had no tv for 26 hours and entertained themselves by painting and playing board games in the camper. Our campsite was right by a creek which had fresh glacier water flowing. Zack came along as well and enjoyed drinking the fresh cold glacier water right out of the creek. Our friends Wayne and April and their 3 kids were also camping with us but they roughed it and stayed in tents. The kids both stayed up late Saturday night and had their first ever smores. It was a little cold through the night. The temperature went down to 35 degrees but we all snuggled up and did fine. All in all we all had a great time and it was a wonderful weekend

The kids on a pony ride
We went on Friday to the State Fair in Palmer. The kids had a blast. They went on tons of rides. They even both went on the gravatron with Mommy which was one of their favorites. They felt like they were on a spaceship. They went on the mini hemalayin with Daddy that went forwards and then backwards really fast. Daddy doesnt really like riding on those types of rides but he went on it cause Daniel asked him to go with him. Next year we will have to get Daddy on the gravatron as well. The kids also had fun in the petting zoo where they saw little baby chicks among other animals of course the bunny rabbits were Haileys favorite and they both got to go on pony rides. Hailey didnt want to get off when the ride was over. Daniel shared an elephant ear with mommy and Hailey shared a funnel cake with Daddy. Before we left we had the kids portrait drawn by a caricature artist which came out great. We all had a very fun day and weather stayed very nice for us.
WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY WEBPAGE
This is a great way to keep in touch with what's going on in the lives of the Williams' Family. With us being so far away it's great to be able to write and post recent pictures of what's going on in our lives. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. Justin and I have been married for 9 years. Daniel is now 5 years old and Hailey is 3 years. We have Zack the Dog, Storm the Cat, Oscar the Fish, and out latest addition to the family Mr. Beans the dog. Justin is keeping busy working 12 hour shifts at the passenger terminal on base and going to school to complete his small business certificate program. I am currently a stay at home mom taking care of the kids which is definitly a full time job in itself and I spend a great deal of time volunteering at the Airman's Attic on base. Daniel and Hailey both go to pre-school 3 days a week. Hailey is currently in her 3rd year of gymnastics. She was been taking gymnastics since she was 18 months old and Daniel just finished playing basketball on the Lions pee wee league last month. We currently have 17 months left in Alaska and then we dont know where we are going to be moving after that. Justin spends his free time working on his Landcruiser and offroading. I spend my free time scrapbooking and keeping up with our blog, watching movies, and keeping up with the kids and all their activites. Daniel loves dinosaurs, superheros (batman, the hulk, superman, and spiderman his favorites, and doing arts and crafts. Hailey loves horses and ponies, barbies, princesses, playing dress up, and recently Hannah Montana. Keep checking back to our page for the newest happenings going on in out lives.
