Hot Summer Days in Alaska

The weather the last few days has been beautiful. I think today was actually a record high. I believe it hit 80 degrees at one point today and the kids and I actually got a bit of a suntan being outside all afternoon. So when we leave for vacation in a few days we will actually have the start of a nice tan. Im sure once we reach Florida it will turn into a sunburn. The kids had all there neighborhood friends over today playing in the yard and jumping on the trampoline and riding bikes. Unfortunatley when we get back from vacation we will only have a few weeks of nice weather until it starts to get cold again and the days of being outside playing are over. Well we are just about packed and ready for our vacation journey to begin. The kids have so many fun things to look forward to doing and they are very excited. Tomorrow we are going to get cupcakes to celebrate Zack's birthday. He will be 7 years old on July 3rd but we will celebrate tomorrow since the following day which is his birthday we will be flying out that evening. Zack and storm and oscar the fish will be staying here with one of our friends to take care of them while we are on vacation. Well this is most likely the last blog entry I will post until we come back from vacation on July 27th and then our cousin Jordan will be here for 10 days and we get to show him as much of Alaska as we can in those days.
